Veil Restoration Service
Breathing new Life into precious family heirloom veils
Family Heirloom Veil – Your Something Borrowed Veil
I am delighted to offer this truly unique veil restoration service to our Brides.
It is my pleasure to breathe new life into an existing wedding veil to create your “something borrowed “ for your wedding day.
It has always been traditional for Brides to choose Something old, Something new, Something borrowed, and Something Blue to wear on their wedding day.
Over the years I have seen my veil restoration service grow as many of my Brides have chosen to incorporate a meaningful family heirloom veil into the most important day of their lives.
It is one the most personal ways to include your something borrowed into your wedding day and it is touching tribute to the Bride who first wore the veil, whether it be their grandmother, their mother or their friend.
Veil Restoration - What I can do
There are many different ways that I can restore or redesign your wedding veil. To inspire you here are a few ways that I have breathed new life into precious family heirloom veils.
- Repairing a Wedding Veil – This can be a simple project that involves repairing some stitching or adding / replacing a comb on the wedding veil.
- Restoring a Wedding Veil – This can involve adding a bespoke design to an existing wedding veil to cover damage such as small holes or tears in the fabric.
- Redesigning a Wedding Veil – This design process involves the reworking of the wedding veil to reflect modern bridal trends and the Brides personal style. This is one of the most emotionally invested designs. These beautiful veils have been created from the lace, beading and crystals of existing wedding veils and dresses – all lovingly handpicked from the original gowns and veils and sewn onto the new wedding veil design.

Kind Words
What can I say about Rebekah?! My sister offered me her veil to use as my “something borrowed” and it was just beautiful!
Upon a closer look, there were a few holes and general wear and tear from her wedding day – I was gutted as I loved the idea of wearing her veil!
Rebekah is a miracle worker. She assured me she would be able to help me out and what a job she did! The finished veil was more beautiful than I had even imagined!
So thank you Rebekah, thank you for understanding how much I wanted to use this veil and thank you for the amazing job you did with it. My sister was also very impressed! X

The Design Process
I loved incorporating initials into Hope’s wedding veil design. Hope’s wedding veil was an ornate floral design which decorated the tailpiece of her wedding veil and stretched into the body of her wedding veil.
The initials were an exact match to the initials that adorned Hope’s wedding invitation. It was such a unique idea and set the theme for Hope’s wedding day. From the very first moment that her guests received her invitation to the moment that Hope walked up the aisle a constant theme ran through her wedding day. The joining of their two names.
