New Website and New Ready to Wear Veil Collection – Part 1
The New Website Design and the creation of a New Ready to Wear Veil Collection has been one of the biggest projects I have ever undertaken. Getting it finished has taken a big dose of motivation, steely determination and a few boxes of chocolates to see me through.
As I write to you I am at home – like half the nation and we have been in isolation for nearly two weeks. Both my husband and I have been ill, without testing we cannot be sure, but I think we have had the Virus.
Even writing one page of content for the website has felt like an epic job but now the website is ready to go and I can feel the pressure lifting of my shoulders.
So Visionary Veils are celebrating 10 years and it has been some journey. We are in our third and final Studio space – the jewel in our crown. We are now on our third website design. Celebrating 10 years of creating luxury wedding veils for Brides here in Northern Ireland and all over the world.
When you work for yourself it can be hard to see the wood for the trees, we are so busy designing, making, promoting, and managing social media that sometimes the things that help our business us grow and develop get put onto the back shelf.
Development
Two summers ago I spent a couple of months brain storming ways to continue the growth of Visionary Veils. After a short break for maternity leave and then to built a brand new purpose built studio it was time to get back on track.
We took a look at the business and identified areas for growth the only problem was how to get enough hours in the day.
I probably would still only be thinking about it if my existing website hadn’t collapsed on me. After a great day at Quirky Weddings in September 2019 the site collapsed. I had no choice now but to put my best foot forward.
And the rest is history, shall we say… We are now striding forward celebrating our 10th year in Business with an amazing new website and new ready to wear veil collection.
New Website
My favorite features of the new site are the amazing promotional videos by Sam of Amber Tree Filmhouse. It was such a pleasure to work with Sam. He came highly recommended by my friend Sharon at Innocent Chaos. Sam and I spent a couple of great days capturing the essence of the studio space at Visionary Veils.
When we send surveys to our past clients the comments were always about the wonderful appointment experience they had at Visionary Veils. How they really enjoyed the experience, the service and the fact that they were never rushed. I wanted to showcase this on our new website.
Thank you to the gorgeous Rachel and her mum for agreeing to star in promotional video showcasing the appointment process at Visionary Veils. Sarah works with owner Shelly at Divinity Bridal with whom we have a great relationship.
Our clients are always surprised when they come up the stairs to our studio space. It is such a beautiful room, with high ceilings and flooded with natural light. It is very relaxing and showcases our veils so beautifully. Check out our new video What to expect at a Visionary Veils Appointment.
New Service
The new website design also highlights our Veil Restoration service. This is a service that has evolved over the years and now its time to spread the word. We are delighted to offer this truly unique service to our Brides. It is our pleasure to breath new life into an existing wedding veil to create your “something borrowed “ for your wedding day.
We will work on an existing wedding veil that has been worn by a friend or family member. This work has included repairing, redesigning and restoring. We can also add an embroidery design of initials to your veil.
Wedding Inspiration
There are hundreds of photos for you to enjoy on the website. Each page has a mixture of real bride and studio photos running along the galleries of our pages, giving you lots of wedding veil inspiration.
